How we get your order to you
Domestic Shipping Rates
We ship to all 50 US states from our store in New Port Richey, Florida. Orders are packed and shipped within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. Most domestic orders arrive within 3–7 business days depending on your distance from the Gulf Coast of Florida. East Coast addresses typically receive orders within 3–4 business days, while West Coast deliveries may take 5–7.
- Orders under $100: Flat-rate shipping fee of $5.95 for standard items or $7.95 for orders containing vinyl records (due to the heavier, specialized packaging).
- Orders $100 and over: Free standard shipping on all items, including vinyl records. No promo code needed. The discount applies automatically at checkout.
We currently ship via USPS Priority Mail and UPS Ground. Carrier selection depends on the size and weight of your order, and we always choose the option that provides the best combination of speed and protection for your items.
Vinyl Record Packaging
Vinyl records are fragile and valuable, and we treat them that way. Every record order is shipped in a purpose-built LP mailer, a rigid cardboard box made to protect 12-inch vinyl records during transit. Records are placed in a protective polyethylene sleeve inside the mailer, with additional cardboard stiffeners on both sides to prevent bending and corner damage.
For orders of multiple records, we use reinforced mailers rated for the combined weight. We have shipped thousands of records and our damage rate is extremely low. If a record does arrive damaged despite our packaging, we will replace it or issue a full refund. See our return policy for details.
Jewelry, Leather Goods & Gifts
Non-vinyl items are packed in appropriately sized boxes with tissue paper, bubble wrap, or kraft paper padding depending on the item. Jewelry ships in its original brand packaging (Alex & Ani pouch, My Saint My Hero card) inside a padded mailer or small box. Leather goods from Bed Stu are wrapped in tissue and placed in a branded dust bag before boxing. Candles are double-wrapped to prevent breakage and scent leakage. Jim Shore figurines are packed with extra care and each is individually wrapped and cushioned with foam inserts.
Order Tracking
Every order receives a tracking number once it ships. You will receive an email with the tracking number and a direct link to the carrier’s tracking page. If you have not received a tracking email within 3 business days of your order, check your spam folder first, then contact us at hello@octopusgardenfl.com or call (727) 741-1386 and we will look into it.
Local Pickup
If you are in the New Port Richey, Tarpon Springs, or greater Tampa Bay area, you can choose local pickup at checkout and grab your order from our store at 5500 Main St. Ste 110-111, New Port Richey, FL 34652. We will send you an email when your order is ready. Local pickup orders are usually available same-day for orders placed before 2 PM on a day we are open (Wednesday through Saturday 11 AM to 6 PM, Sunday 11 AM to 4 PM).
International Shipping
We do not currently offer international shipping through our website. If you are outside the United States and interested in a specific product, contact us at hello@octopusgardenfl.com and we will do our best to arrange shipping on a case-by-case basis. International shipping rates, customs duties, and import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
